    What payment methods do you accept?

    MoonEvents only accepts bank transfer at this time. Bank details will be sent to you alongside your invoice!

    What are your fees?

    We will discuss all your event requirements before giving a quotation as obviously fees charged will depend on the scale and nature of an upcoming project, complexity planning or level involvement. We’ll keep in contact with you regarding our time spent on it too so no surprises there! You can count on us working to meet any budget constraints while still providing excellent service.

    What are your payment terms?

    We ask for 50% at booking confirmation to secure your date and start planning the decor/event, then half of it is due 7 days before.

    Do you offer refunds?

    We’re sorry, but we can’t offer refunds. If you contact us at least four weeks before an event – which is the minimum amount of notice required for any rescheduling request- then your reservation will be changed to another date within one or two days after the original booking time period if it becomes available in those months as well! During Covid19 lockdown periods deposits and payments transfer over automatically too;

    How far do you travel for an event?

    We work with clients all over the country so they can set their event wherever it’s needed. We have been able to provide international events and nationwide sets as well, but these will cost more due in part because of overnight stays during production time spent traveling UK-wide on site at various locations that are confirmed upon request if necessary (depending).

    Do you want to see the site before an event?

    No, it’s often not necessary. Photographs and a description of access will suffice for most decisions about whether or not meeting at your location would be beneficial in helping scope out your ideas on what we can do together- but if there are specific items that need more discussion than is available through casual phone calls/email then please contact us, so we can arrange a site visit!

    Do you ‘Dry Hiring’ your event equipment?

    Dry hiring is when we hire our props, and you deliver it back us again yourself after the big day. This arrangement can be made for hire of all types, including party accessory or prop items!

    How do you keep budgets on track?

    We don’t let our budgets get away from us. We are meticulous about keeping track of everything we need to spend money on – this is done by constant monitoring and updating spreadsheets, knowing where the most important items should go first (our emergency fund), as well as when it’s okay not have enough in savings but still make sure there’s always room for what might come up unexpectedly down the line or during emergencies.

    How early do we need to start planning an event?

    While this obviously depends on the size and nature of your celebration, there’s no harm in preparing for one as far ahead of time possible. 10 days should be ample time before a big event like yours arrives!
